Independent Horse - Film Courses

These are recreations of shoots at 4 different locations known only to the instructors. Each location raises new challenges for the students and the horses they are to work with.

Section 1 includes location exam.

Section 2,3,and 4. do not include location exam. as the time scale from starting to completion will differ from student to student. the location exam can be booked at extra cost.

The length of this course sections 1 to 4 depends on the level of riding. An advanced rider would compete the course in less time. For a novice rider at some point extra riding lessons would be required. For information on costs and bookings please contact.

WORKING ON THE GROUND IN FRONT OF CAMERA.
Section 1
Combat around horses
Combat with mounted rider.
Being charged
Chased down.

Section 2 Advanced
Bull dog
Chest bounce.
Section 2 is only available by application due to its extreme physical nature.

WORKING ON THE GROUND BEHIND CAMERA.
This course is about theory and what is requested of a spotter on set.
It covers working with directors, camera personal and health and safety to achieve the shot that is required as quickly as possible. For more info on this course or to work it in to an other course please contact us.

Section 1 can be competed by a novice over a weekend. Location exam included.

Combat with ground opponent
Charging opponent
Chasing and running down opponent.
